One of his many strengths includes his ability to deescalate situations by identifying and addressing socio-emotional needs of individuals. While serving as Lieutenant he has established meaningful working relationships with students, staff, and families. Lindsey has served as the Lieutenant of the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township’s Police Department as well as Lead Resource Officer at North Central High School. Lindsey received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Police Management. Lindsey proudly served our country well in the United States Army on active duty and reserve status for a combined 8 years. Lt. Prior to entering the field of law enforcement Mr. He also served as a reserve deputy with the Marion County Sheriff’s office for 8 years. As an Investigator for IPSPD he was assigned Detective of both Criminal and Internal Investigations. During his 19-year tenure he rose to the rank of Detective. Lindsey started his law enforcement career in March 1997 with the Indianapolis Public School’s Police Department (IPSPD).
