![]() No welcoming smile, no conversation (remember the headsets?) and no menu. You can't view the goods before you pay because you can't walk in without paying. I don't think they were relaying requests to replenish buffet items since I've never known a spring roll (in any language) to reduce someone to knee-slapping laughter. Touching lightly on that situation, we move into a restaurant where the entire staff is flitting hither and yon chatting into headsets. We will be dropping it all off with a dear friend at the Department of Agriculture in the morning for further testing.First Lesson of the Day: Never get restaurant recommendations from realtors who make you pay for their gas. 46 cents to bring the worms and meat home with us as well. We took pictures of our meat/the worms and ended up having to pay not only our bill, but the extra. We understand that stuff happens, it's not like they butchered the cow behind the place and somehow knew they had low grade meat however, the way our situation was handled was despicable. Instead of handling the situation professionally, as in taking care of our meal or offering us a discount like I suggested, they called the local police instead! Never have we been treated so poorly! They even went as far as to have some Chinese woman (We never were told who she was, as she spoke no English, only screamed "POLICE COME NOW NO TALK" while shaking her finger within inches of our faces. These were none of those - they were worms, with heads and segmented bodies. I have been to culinary school and am completely familiar with beef: muscle/fat/veins and tendons. When I brought It to the waitresses attention, she suddenly spoke no English and called someone (A manager I was told) on the phone who tried to assure me it was just muscle - totally normal in meat. ![]() We found what appears to be 2 separate tapeworms (in the flank steak on their buffet table) tonight around 4pm.
